Messaging channels

Meet guests where they already send messages.

Bring supported OTA replies and your connected WhatsApp, Telegram, Outlook, Instagram and Messenger conversations into Kiyo. Keep every supported thread close to the guest and reservation it belongs to.

Channel scope

Each channel has its own connection and delivery rules.

Kiyo can centralize supported guest messaging without pretending that all social networks or mailboxes behave the same way.

01

OTA and direct channels differ

Booking.com, Airbnb and Expedia conversations arrive through supported booking-channel connections. WhatsApp Business uses a connected business number; eligible Messenger and Instagram accounts use Meta setup; Telegram uses the property bot and begins when the guest initiates.

  • Eligible Meta accounts and property Telegram bot

Connection state matters

The Inbox should show whether a channel is connected and able to receive or send. Account eligibility, provider approval, service windows, templates and media support can affect what a team can do on a specific channel.

  • Connected, attention and unavailable states
  • Provider-specific reply rules
  • Text and media capabilities vary

Connection labels must stay precise

Outlook, Telegram, Instagram and Messenger are available after the required mailbox, bot or provider account setup. Gmail, TikTok and Slack remain roadmap items until their real connection and delivery flows are released.
