What is Traveloka TERA?
TERA (Traveloka Extranet Reservation System) is Traveloka's partner system for managing room rates and availability. Traveloka says partners can use it on web and mobile, get booking notifications, and manage rates and availability in one place. The official overview is on the TERA property registration page.
TERA is not your hotel PMS. TERA is also not a channel manager. TERA is Traveloka's panel for properties that are (or are becoming) partners. For whether Traveloka fits a small hotel at all, read Traveloka for small properties. This page focuses on using TERA once you have access.
How do you log in to Traveloka TERA?
Partner login is through the TERA Partner Hub login page. Use the partner email and password, not a guest booking account in the Traveloka consumer app.
High-level steps:
- Open the TERA Partner Hub login page.
- Enter the partner email used at registration.
- Enter the password (watch caps lock; passwords are case-sensitive).
- If login works, you reach the partner area for your property.
If you see an email or password error, retry with the correct credentials. If it still fails, reset the password using Traveloka's official help. Traveloka documents that path on email or password is incorrect.
Partner accounts, Market Manager checks and listing status stay with Traveloka. In Kiyo, software helps after the channel connection is ready and mapping is correct.
How do you set rooms and rate plans in TERA?
After login, make sure room types and rate plans match what you sell on site.
Practical checks:
- Room names match what reception understands (for example Deluxe Twin, not only an internal code).
- Capacity and amenities match photos and the description.
- Rate plans are clear: with breakfast or without, refundable or not, per your policy.
- Base rates make sense next to other channels for the same dates.
A common miss: changing Saturday rates in TERA but forgetting the same plan on another channel. Guests then compare and get confused. Before a busy season, keep a small table: date, Traveloka rate, other channel rate, direct rate.
If the property is brand new, registration starts with a TERA account and a property form, then a Market Manager contacts you to validate details. Official steps sit on the TERA partner page and the TERA host page.
How do you manage availability and stop-sell?
Availability is the core of TERA. Every night sold elsewhere must be closed on Traveloka, or you risk a double booking.
A short daily routine:
- Open the availability calendar for the next 14 days.
- Close dates already full on other channels or held for owner use.
- Reopen cancelled dates only when the room is truly free.
- For Nyepi or other Bali special days, confirm stop-sell or closed-arrival rules with the banjar and with Traveloka support if needed.
Stop-sell means you stop selling a date. Do not rely on memory. Write it on the front-desk shift note: "8 March Traveloka stop-sell is set".
For availability across many OTAs, also see manage room availability across OTAs.
What common TERA mistakes should you avoid?
| Mistake | Effect | Fast fix |
|---|
| Rare logins | Stale rates and stock | Schedule a TERA check on busy mornings |
| Lost password during leave | Cannot update in a hurry | Keep the reset path; test login before long leave |
| Rates differ from tiket.com or other channels | Confused guests; weaker trust | One cross-channel rate table every Tuesday |
| Late Nyepi stop-sell | Bookings you cannot serve | Set early; confirm locally |
| Updates only on one personal phone | The rest of the team is blind | One shift checklist plus safe shared access |
A frequent scene: TERA rates not raised yet while another channel already moved. Or the reverse. Align numbers before domestic weekends and long weekends.
When should you connect a channel manager after TERA works?
TERA alone can be enough if Traveloka is your only OTA and volume is still small. A channel manager matters when:
- you also sell on Booking.com, Agoda, Airbnb or tiket.com;
- manual updates often arrive late;
- near double bookings appear across channels.
A channel manager pushes rates and availability to connected channels after rooms and rate plans are mapped. A PMS holds reservations and guest context. The job split is on PMS vs channel manager. A go-live list is on the hotel channel manager setup checklist.
A safe order:
- Finish the TERA account and listing until status is clear.
- Steady the rooms, rates and availability inside TERA.
- Only then connect a channel manager, with reviewed mapping.
- Test one rate change and one date close, then confirm the result in TERA.
In Kiyo you can keep bookings on one calendar after Traveloka is connected and mapped correctly. Finish partner sign-up, verification and onboarding support with Traveloka first.
Where does Kiyo help after Traveloka is connected?
When the Traveloka connection is active and mapping is correct, the Kiyo calendar shows Traveloka stays next to other connected channels. The channel manager on every plan covers 60+ channels under connection and mapping conditions. That helps cut missed manual updates.
Keep TERA registration and Market Manager tasks with Traveloka. After the connection is mapped, use one calendar for Traveloka stays next to your other channels. If a clash still appears, prepare a response path like stop double bookings.
Frequently asked questions
Guests use the Traveloka app or site to book. TERA is the partner panel for listing, rates and availability. Partner login is separate from a guest account.
Retry carefully with attention to upper and lower case. If it still fails, follow Traveloka's official reset path on email or password is incorrect. Save partner support contacts before long leave.
No. TERA remains Traveloka's extranet for many partner tasks and for registration or verification. Kiyo works on the calendar and channel side after the connection is ready.
For a small property, a daily check in peak weeks is enough, plus a deeper weekly review. Consistency across channels matters more than changing numbers hourly without notes.
They are different OTAs. Rates and stock can drift if you update each panel by hand. Align your policy, or connect through a channel manager after mapping is correct.
